About me
I’m Bernd Himmelsbach, a beauty and commercial photographer based near Düsseldorf, Germany.
Photography has been part of my life for more than 15 years. I’ve been working professionally for many years and have been self-employed as a photographer for the past five. Over time, I’ve developed a clear visual language focused on clean, minimal aesthetics.
I believe that less is often more. My work is defined by precise lighting, natural skin textures and a modern, refined look, with a strong focus on beauty and skin-focused photography.
I work with brands in the beauty and commercial space, create editorial imagery and collaborate with models and creatives in Germany and internationally.
For the past five years I’ve been running two studios in Mettmann near Düsseldorf, where many of my beauty and portrait projects are created.
